ZAFAYCO, along with the National Network of Girls Social Shifters (NNGSS), is proud to have created a platform for young girls to connect, dream, and support each other. Working with over 20 schools across Unguja and Pemba, we listened to the girls voices to understand their most pressing needs. After conducting consultations and a successful fundraising effort, we were able to provide care kits filled with essential items such as emergency sanitary pads, dustbins, painkillers, and other hygiene products to improve the school environment and support their well-being. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the District Education Officers for their trust and support in making this initiative possible. This is a powerful example of what real, positive change looks like!.
